Please get your forms in at least 1 week before you would like it posted. The cost is $10.00. Please include this form and cash or check payable to JMPTO to the school office.
Lost & Found
Lost and found is located outside the main foyer.
All students are asked to stay in the playground in the morning where there is supervision. The school bell rings at 8:25 a.m. This bell serves two purposes. The first purpose is middle school students are beginning class. The second purpose is it serves as a warning bell for 1st - 5th grade students. When the bell rings the students will have a chance to use the restroom or get a drink of water before class begins. A whistle will be blown by yard duty and students will line up in the playground area with their class. They will then proceed to walk to class in a quiet manner.
Each Friday the blue plastic "Friday Folder" will be sent home with your child. This is an effort to improve communication between the school and home. Look over all the material and return signed forms in the envelope promptly on Monday morning (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). It is important envelopes are returned since new information will be placed in the envelopes throughout the week. If your child does not return the envelope, we cannot guarantee you will be provided with timely school information.
The blue envelopes are waterproof and will last all year. Students will be required to have a Home Envelope. Should your child misplace or lose and envelope, you will need to purchase a replacement envelope in the office for a dollar donation.
Our school year has gotten off to a great start. Students are getting back into the routines of school, meeting familiar classmates and making new friends. Student enrollment had increased by 100 more students compared to last year, so we have been busy making space and preparing for lots of new families who have joined our school community.
Now that students are familiar with their classrooms, it is time to help build their independence getting to their classroom on their own. We will be asking for your assistance in keeping our courtyard area clear. Parents are welcome to accompany their child to the playground. When the bell rings, students will line up by room number before walking to their classrooms. We appreciate your support in maintaining a safe school environment for all.
We are looking forward to a very rewarding school year.

Like other forms of cancer, childhood cancer has an international symbol, the gold ribbon. This is an easily-recognizable symbol to unite under, if people know what it means. Sadly, when asked, most people would not be able to identify the gold ribbon as the symbol for childhood cancer awareness.
In 1997, a group of parents started discussing the creation of a universal awareness ribbon for children with cancer. Many colors were considered, but after much thought, it was decided that the color gold was the perfect choice for our cause. Gold is a precious metal, and our children are precious.
Go Gold is a way that your school can join in the fight to beat childhood cancer and provide HOPE to those who need it most.
